“You Can See the Future of Care Right Here”
Commissioners and providers came to Health + Care 2017 seeking answers to the big questions about the future of social care:
- How to commission outcomes rather than activity
- How to deliver Accountable Care Organisations and collaborative care
- How to use digital transformation to improve productivity and quality of care
- How to ensure quality and accountability while minimising admin, monitoring and compliance costs
- How to improve information sharing and integration with health services
- Delegates found answers to many of these big themes and questions at the Webformed stand. The company created a real buzz around the show with CareForIT, the integrated care management and commissioning platform.
The Webformed team welcomed over 100 visitors to the stand to see how the CareForIT platform delivers workable and tested solutions to challenges facing the care sector. Visitors included local authorities, health service commissioners, national charities and major providers.
eBrokerage launch event a big success
The highlight of the event was the official launch of the CareForIT eBrokerage solution, which has been successfully piloted with local authority commissioners. Senior figures from the sector attended the launch event to see efficient online care brokerage in action, leading to more detailed demonstrations with their commissioning teams. While providers who visited the stand appreciated features such as online care planning, rostering, MAR charts and call monitoring, it was the all-through solution to commissioning, planning, delivery, reporting and billing that had most significance for many visitors.
“We received the invitation to the launch and heard that North Devon NHS Trust and Mears were tendering and award care packages to providers efficiently through this simple online system. We wanted to see what all the fuss was about – and of course grab a glass of bubbles!”
Dan Farrell-Wright, MD of Webformed summed up how the CareForIT platform helps the sector to move forward with the major challenges it faces, including the need to ‘deliver more with less’:
“It isn’t knowing what needs to change or willingness to change that has held the sector back. The missing element has always been the enabling technology that makes it easy for people to collaborate and work in new and more productive ways.
“The launch of eBrokerage is, for us, the final piece of the jigsaw. CareForIT supports the entire commissioning, delivery and compliance process, enabling a more productive, accountable and better integrated care sector. Whether you’re a commissioner or a provider you can see the future of care right here, right now.”
